Gender studies – Cambridge journal online

In the past I’ve whinged about how academic work is not made freely available. Well, there are notable exceptions, and one of them is this months’s Bulletin of the School of Oriental and African Studies, published through Cambridge. A range of articles and essays on gender studies are available in pdf for free, including “Holy superheroine: a comic book interpretation of the Hindu Devī Māhātmya scripture” and a review of Beata Grant’s Eminent Nuns, Women Chan Masters of Seventeenth-Century China.
