Photos from the Bhikkhuni Ordination for Ayyas Pasada and Munissara
The bhikkhuni ordination in Perth last Thursday 1 March went beautifully. I’m afraid i don’t have time to write much about it, but here are some photos.
I work as a hydrogeologist and witness at close hand the greed of the resource industry. I hope I can ameliorate this problem somehow. We have a wafer thin biosphere that is being degraded at exponential rates.
Bikkhuni ordination may provide a rational way forward for women but the Garudhammas must go in Perth Australia.
I support the ordination of Theravada nuns. I do not care about differences of opinion in Sangha Theravada. I want women getting their rights. We are not different. Women and men alike. we are spirits. Spirit doesn’t has gender.
Awesome!!
Wonderful!
Thanks for posting these. Very inspiring. All good wishes to the new Bhikkhunis–may you realize Nibbana.
